Paulie planted these sunflower seeds that were sent home by his first grade teacher at McArthur Elementary. Paulie is in a self contained class for autistic children. He helped plant and water them every day until they started blooming much to our excitement! We noticed that they seemed small, so we researched and found out it was because they didn’t have enough sun! (Shocker, right?) We have a shady yard, so we are happy with our dwarf sunflowers, and we will definitely plant them again.  We ended up with about 14!
