I planted these at my grandparents farm on May 28, 2022.  They have a small garden just for me beside the garage. I watered them and weeded them every time I came out.

I learned about sunflowers and other plants that bees like in school and they gave me these to plant.  I also help my grandparents in the garden and I always think about what I can do to make the world a better place. Emma

My name is Khamille I’m 10 yrs old I planted my sunflower and it bloomed August 15! I’m so excited about growing my first sunflower. I  helped my mother in her garden last year and was so happy to see my own plant grow. Seeing such a tiny seed turn into this tall sunflower has amazed me.

I helped my grandma plant a garden and pull weeds.

Serenity and LayLeah both enjoyed growing and watching the sunflowers bloom.

The miracle is this particular one, came to full bloom on the 11th of August.  So it was a birthdays gift to both of them!

The girls like collecting them and putting them in the kitchen window. We will dry the seeds and hopefully be able to regrow more in the years to come!
